PRIVACY AND SECURITY POLICY

Teakina İçecek A.Ş. (“Teakina”) processes certain personal data (such as name, surname, email address, phone number, address details, IP address, etc.) in order to fulfill its legal obligations under the Turkish Criminal Code No. 5237, the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), and the relevant legislation, and to provide better service to its users.

All users who use Teakina’s website and/or mobile application shall be deemed to have accepted this Privacy and Security Policy.

1. COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected by Teakina are processed in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK for the following purposes:

3. RETENTION PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data shall be retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and in consideration of the statute of limitations periods stipulated under the relevant legislation.

If the reasons requiring the processing of personal data cease to exist, such data shall be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with Article 7 of the KVKK.

4. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, users have the right to:

  • Learn whether their personal data are being processed,

  • Request information if their personal data have been processed,

  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,

  • Know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,

  • Request correction if personal data are incomplete or incorrectly processed,

  • Request deletion, destruction, or anonymization of personal data,

  • Request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

Applications shall be concluded within 30 days at the latest in accordance with the KVKK and relevant legislation.

Teakina takes administrative and technical measures against risks such as:

  • Data loss,

  • Unlawful processing.

Personal data are stored on secure servers and are accessible only by authorized personnel.

7. COOKIES

Cookies are used on Teakina’s website to improve user experience.

Cookies are used for purposes such as:

  • Measuring site performance,

  • Remembering user preferences,

  • Improving user experience.

8. PAYMENT SECURITY

During online payment transactions, credit card information is processed directly through the secure infrastructure of banks and payment institutions.
